- Standard ultrasound. The test uses sound waves to create two-dimensional images on a computer screen.
- Doppler ultrasound. This test shows the movement of blood through the umbilical cord, in the baby’s heart, or between the baby and the placenta.
- 3-D ultrasound. This test shows a lifelike image of an unborn baby.

Ultrasound does NOT utilize ionizing radiation exposure to neither client nor baby. Over 30 years of extensive studies have support ultrasound as the safest means of imaging when practiced by a license and trained professional.
Absolutely NOT. Our 2D/3D/4D appointments are non-diagnostic, elective sessions. Although the service is performed by a licensed ultrasound specialist there will be no diagnosis made. We only serve to create bonding experiences between baby and parent(s).
Although we can detect gender sometimes as early as 15 weeks, there are many reasons why it’s best to confirm after 16 weeks, including, but not limited to:
- fetal position and activity
- body habitus, including previous area of scars.
- fetal developmental stage
Usually your baby is selfie ready as long as preparation is properly followed, but in some cases if the baby is facing maternal spine or at rest during the time of service then it will be difficult. We make no guarantee that the images will be similar to those seen elsewhere or even from our site, but we do guarantee that if you are unsatisfied with your first session we will provide up to 2 free sessions to return on selected days.
Images are mostly dependent on gestational age, position, amniotic fluid, and mother’s body habitus.
There will always be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer, specialized in OB/GYN with well over 7+ years of experience in both hospital and clinical setting present to assist in your perfect experience. Although our studio sessions are non-diagnostic they will be informative as we’ll always put your safety first.
